Michelle Collins is a writer, comedian, and self-described giant (personality!) She is a producer and frequent guest on Kathy!, the Kathy Griffin talk show airing on Bravo. Before clipping her bangs, she spent 6 years as the Managing Editor of VH1’s Best Week Ever website, which garnered her two Webby Awards for Best Celebrity/Fan Blog. She put one of them on the hood of her Mercury Milan.
If Michelle looks familiar to you, you either work at Loehmanns, or maybe you’ve seen her on Chelsea Lately (E!), The Tyra Banks Show (Smize!), or one of the millions of Vh1 countdown shows.
In 2010, Logo TV awarded Michelle the NewNowNext Award for Breakout Comic, and in 2009, she won the ECNY Award for Best Female Stand-up, where she approached the stage like Cloverfield and drunkenly scooped up all the awards that hadn’t been given out yet. She is a delight and a hit with parents. She will do her Shirley Bassey impression upon request.
