Becky Baker has been making people laugh for close to twenty years. An acclaimed motivational speaker, Becky will have your group laughing, singing and joining in the fun as she intertwines the joy in life with a more complete understanding of the marvelous character of God and our relationship to Him.
Raised in Central America by her missionary parents, Becky accepted Christ at the age of 12 in a tent meeting during a hurricane. A professional model and actress since 1977, Becky started out doing TV commercials and industrial films, progressing to her own live stage show, The Bessie & Beulah Comedy Show. This side-splitting, customized routine continues to take her and her partner all over the United States for nearly 20 years, performing for audiences as diverse as Boeing, Kaiser Permanente and Chevrolet. Becky has also been a high school teacher since 1970. She is completely bilingual, having been raised in Central America, and she has been selected for numerous awards like Disney Teacher of the Year and UCSD Teacher of the Year. She has taught at California State University at San Diego, University of San Diego, Palomar College and Chapman University.
Audiences everywhere embrace Becky’s seminars on “Laughter, God’s Best Medicine”, teaching people how to look for and find the humor all around us in life. Her fully interactive presentation includes multimedia explaining the real-life absurdity available everywhere. Becky also published her first book this year: Joykillers, now in its second printing. Becky’s heart for women, gift for teaching and wildly funny relevance will bring women from all walks of life to your outreach event, Ladies’ Night, luncheon, retreat or business meeting.
