Brea Baker is a skilled communications strategist and organizer who has been working on the frontlines for over 8 years first as a student activist and now as a national and global strategist for leading changemakers. In that time, she has contributed to dozens of electoral and advocacy campaigns including the 2017 Women’s March (where she served as the youngest national organizer), the 2018 student walkouts against gun violence, Jumaane Williams’ successful bid for NYC Public Advocate, and more. Among her many hats, a core part of Baker’s work involves advising influencers, advocacy organizations, and media companies on their social impact strategies.
Baker has a B.A. in Political Science from Yale University where she held internships with the U.S. Department of State, Public Defender Service DC, and served as President of Yale’s NAACP Chapter. For her work in coalition with other activists and organizers, Baker has been recognized as a 2017 Glamour Woman of the Year (Women’s March), and 2019 i-D Up and Rising. In addition, she has spoken about her work at Yale Law School, Yale School of Art, the United Nations’ Girl Up Campaign, ABC’s The View, VICE, The Hollywood Reporter, and more. She also regularly contributes with ELLE Magazine and Harper’s Bazaar.
