Charisse Strawberry, President of The National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence – Tampa, is America’s leading advocate for families and friends of those suffering from alcoholism and other drug addictions.
The wife of former NY Yankee Darryl Strawberry, Charisse co-authored–along with her husband–a best selling book called Recovering Life.
In addition to her duties as a mother of three and her role with NCADD-Tampa, Charisse Strawberry is much in demand as a national speaker. She sits on the panel for Paula White Today and has appeared on The Today Show, Good Morning America, The Early Show on CBS with Bryant Gumbel, The View, Geraldo, Praise the Lord on TBN and many other national and local television programs. Her speaking engagements take her around the country, with an emphasis on the neglected majority–those families and friends who are being slowly destroyed by the active alcoholic/addict.
Today she is able to stand by her husband’s side and share a story of recovery and new beginnings!
