One of Canada’s best loved and most honored comedians, Dave Broadfoot has been performing his comedy routine for more than 45 years. Born in Vancouver in 1925, Dave was rated above Niagara Falls as a Canadian Tourist Attraction by the American Society of Travel Writers in 1966. A former star of the remarkably successful radio show, the Royal Canadian Air Farce, Dave has performed before Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth in 1964 and 1982. He has headed up many variety shows throughout his career for Canada’s armed forces, touring Japan, Korean, the Gaza Strip, Cyprus, Germany, and most recently, Bosnia. Dave averages over 100 convention appearances a year. Recently he appeared for the sixth time as a headliner in the Calgary Stampede Grandstand Show and was inducted into the Professional Speakers Hall of Fame.
