In his diverse career, he has been a winning, professional racecar driver, founded an award-winning winery and been a certified personal trainer; thus enabling him to speak on a variety of topics. All of these accomplishments pale when viewed next to his recovery from alcohol.
The co-host of “The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour,” his distinguished career covers many aspects of performance. Dick brings to his audiences his intuitive humor, natural warmth and superlative showmanship. He played the elder brother in a comic folk singing duo who engaged in lightweight banter accentuated by the theme, “Mom always liked you best.” Under that was a social revolutionary who changed the standards of television, immersing their show in controversy during its short tenure.
On the personal side, Dick pursues his interests with the same fervor as his work. Even on the road, he doesn’t miss a beat as he maintains a disciplined regimen of robust workouts at the nearest health club. Equally at home in the kitchen, Dick is known to conjure up delicious heart healthy cuisine. Dick doesn’t merely pursue an interest, he masters it.
