Jennette McCurdy is most widely known for her role as Sam Puckett on the Nickelodeon sitcom “iCarly” and on its spin-off series “Sam & Cat.” She has also appeared in a variety of television series, including “Victorious,” “Zoey 101,” “True Jackson, VP,” “Malcolm in the Middle” and “Lincoln Heights. McCurdy has honed a variety of talents in her career, including music, writing, and directing. She started her own podcast “Empty Inside”, where she speaks with guests about uncomfortable topics. Her work has been featured in/on The Hollywood Reporter, Short of the Week, Florida Film Festival, Salute Your Shorts, and many more. She has written articles for Huffington Post and the Wall Street Journal. Her one-woman show “I’m Glad My Mom Died” had a sold-out run at Lyric Hyperion Theatre.

McCurdy started her acting career in 2000 at the age of 8 on MADtv. From 2007 to 2012, she had a starring role in the Nickelodeon TV series “iCarly” opposite Miranda Cosgrove as Sam Puckett. McCurdy later reprised her role of Sam in the Nickelodeon series “Sam & Cat,” alongside Ariana Grande as Cat Valentine.
