Co-Host, “Fox and Friends First”

Emmy Award-winning broadcast journalist Jillian Mele has been on a meteoric rise in media. In a few short years she moved from hosting a local sports show in Philadelphia to reading the morning news on “Fox and Friends” every weekday, and getting tweeted responses from the President of the United States.

Jillian Mele is co-host of FOX News Channel’s (FNC) “FOX & Friends First” (weekdays 5-6 AM/ET) alongside Rob Schmitt. She also reports on the latest news headlines and contributes to daily segments on FOX & Friends (weekdays6-9 AM/ET.) Mele has also done live reporting for the show, traveling to Miami after Hurricane Irma and Las Vegas after October’s mass shooting. She joined the network in March 2017.

Prior to joining the FOX news channel Mele served as a co-host on Comcast Sports Net Philadelphia’s (CSN Philly) local morning news program, “Breakfast on Broad,” where she earned an Emmy Award for her work. As a Pennsylvania native and sports lover, she was thrilled to cover the Philadelphia Eagle’s Super Bowl Championship parade for FOX in 2018.

Earlier in her career, Mele spent seven years with WCAU-TV (NBC 10) in Philadelphia, PA and report-ed in various capacities, including as a news, sports and trac reporter. She got her on-air start as a local news anchor for stations in Presque Isle, Maine, and Binghamton, New York. Additionally, while enrolled in college, Mele held an internship with CSN Philly.

Mele received a B.A. in arts and communication from La Salle University.
