Kalen Allen from Kansas City, KS first caught Ellen DeGeneres’ eye with his hilarious Kalen Reacts videos where he gives colorful and witty commentary on culinary concoctions online. After inviting Kalen to her show on January 2, 2018, Ellen knew she found something special and offered him an opportunity to collaborate and produce content for her digital platforms. Today, Kalen’s meteoric rise has found himself with a regular guest spot on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, his very own weekly digital news series, OMKalen, where he gives his one-of-a-kind commentary on hot topics and trending stories of the week, and the host of Cakealikes on Food Network. In August 2020, starring alongside Seth Rogan, Kalen appeared in An American Pickle.

Kalen has found incredible success expanding his Kalen Reacts food series to cover events such as New York Fashion Week, the Met Gala, and the royal wedding. Kalen also brought his trademark wide-brimmed red hat and infectious personality to the 2018 Billboard Music Awards red carpet as Ellen’s correspondent interviewing some of the biggest stars, including Jennifer Lopez, Kelly Clarkson, and Shawn Mendes.

In 2020, Kalen released his debut album, For Christmas Sake! For the album, the 24-year-old digital creator also serves as the executive producer of the album (alongside his co-executive producer Angel Lee Higgs), which will feature a mix of holiday classics along with original songs written by both Allen and Higgs.

As Kalen continues to entertain in the digital space, his videos boast over 250 million views across all ELLEN platforms. Kalen’s reach includes 3.5M followers on Facebook, 1.4M followers on Instagram, and 231.3K followers on Twitter.
