Kiley Dean is a singer with a decades-long music career, working with Britney Spears, Madonna, Demi Lovato, Timbaland, New Kids On The Block, and more top names. Dean released a new EP on Friday, July 23 – only this time, it’s on her own.
Dean has since added wife, mother, breast cancer survivor, songwriter and storyteller to her resume. She’s lost a child; she’s been told who to be, where to be, what to sing, what to look like, and that she still never added up; she’s experienced loss and adversity; but most importantly, she’s overcome.
Today, for the first time ever, the story she’s here to tell and the song she’s here to sing, front and center, is her own. It only makes sense to start at the beginning: Dean grew up singing in the church, reflected in her new EP with songs of worship. But this doesn’t mean Dean will box herself into one genre. The former American contemporary R&B singer is back on the map with more music, more albums, more of the real Kiley Dean. She’s funny, she’s loud, she’s relatable, and she’s going to let that all shine through in this next stage of her career.
