The Skinny Confidential is more than just an online website- it is a community for women to express themselves without hesitation and a place to master the art of living life with balance.
Becoming a mom also opened up a whole new conversation on pregnancy, weight gain, mom guilt, and postpartum anxiety & depression, which further brought the community together.
In addition to her online blog platform, Bosstick is an established author of two published books. Her debut, The Skinny Confidential: A Babe’s Sexy, Sassy Fitness, and Lifestyle Guide, is all about the essential tips to being the best version of yourself.
Her most recent book and national best-seller entitled Get The Fuck Out Of the Sun covers all things skincare, pulling from Bosstick’s extensive research and experience. Her voice as a writer is injected with the trademark no-nonsense spunk that’s garnered her a devoted online audience.
Bosstick’s The Skinny Confidential brand is not only on her blog and in print; she has extended her empire to several entrepreneurial assets in the skincare space, specifically. In 2021, she released an ice roller, which she coined the Hot Mess Ice Roller, and the Ice Queen Facial Oil. In just 48 hours, she sold out both products in tandem, grossing over $1 million in sales overall.
In addition to her original products, she has participated in various collaborations with other skincare and makeup brands, including Sephora, Ulta, and Glossier. Her products and venture collaborations stay true to Bosstick’s carefree brand while also allowing an ever-growing community to engage with her work in a more interactive way.
Bosstick has found the ultimate way to ask unfiltered questions with her podcast The Skinny Confidential: HIM & HER , alongside her husband, Michael Bosstick. With almost 400 episodes released and over 100 million downloads and counting, the podcast allows for Lauryn and her husband to chat about anything and everything with their guests (featuring everyone from reality stars to wellness gurus to doctors). Bosstick’s mission-driven entrepreneurial endeavors center on empowerment and inclusion.
