From the start, Ronnie Jordan has proven that he’s a comedy force to be reckoned with. After only one year on the comedy scene, Jordan was crowned “Rookie of the Year” in 2001 by the famed Uptown Comedy Corner in Atlanta, Ga.
As one of the country’s hottest up and coming comedians, he has shared concert dates with numerous stand-up heavyweights including Rickey Smiley, Bruce Bruce, Earthquake, Mike Epps, Arnez J. and Dave Chappelle.
Jordan became the crowd favorite on the Miller Lite King and Queens of Comedy Search Tour and served as an opening act on the Queens of Comedy 12 city tour which featured famed female comedians Sommore, Monique and Adelle Givens.
He has headlined the Roosevelt Johnson Entertainment Comedy Cabaret Tour, the longest running and highest grossing comedy tour targeting colleges and universities. Jordan broke college touring records last spring with 102 colleges in 112 days within two regions and broke booking records in three regions his first year with Auburn Moon Agency.
No stranger to television, Jordan has been featured on BET’s “Comic View,” “Martin Lawrence Presents the 1st Amendment Stand-up,” and “P. Diddy Presents Bad Boys of Comedy” and has hosted the successful Atlanta-based video show “Oomp Camp Live.”
Jordan is also a writer who has collaborated with many of his fellow comedians and has written for “That Comedy Show” which aired on the Turner South Network. He is currently touring the nation’s colleges and universities on his “College Material Tour.”
