Reverand Shane Harris is an activist and the founder and organizer of the National Action Network San Diego. A lifelong resident of San Diego, Reverend Harris promotes action-mindedness and leadership in civil rights, social justice, and equality. Rev. Harris’s passion for social justice and equality stems from his childhood.

Reverand Shane Harris is an activist and the founder and organizer of the National Action Network San Diego.
A lifelong resident of San Diego, Reverend Harris promotes action-mindedness and leadership in civil rights, social justice, and equality. Rev. Harris’s passion for social justice and equality stems from his childhood. A victim of the unjust juvenile penal system, educational inequalities, and challenges of foster care, Harris has devoted his life to fighting for black and brown justice.
Harris works with elected officials to address issues such as police policies, educational inequality, and regional discrepancies in the school system. As well, he collaborates with the Western Regional Director Rev. K.W. Tulloss, as well as the National President Rev. Al Sharpton, with the hopes of building a powerful ground response team and ensuring a successful and strong chapter in the city.
