From editor to CEO, Tina Brown’s legendary career has been propelled by her talent for re-invention and leading organizations through extreme disruption. Her track record includes transforming Vanity Fair (increasing sales from 200,000 to 1.2 million), reinventing the New Yorker (increasing circulation by 30% and more than doubling newsstand sales) pioneering online journalism as the founder and editor-in-chief of The Daily Beast and founding the global Women in the World summit in 2010.

With hard-won wisdom gained as a leader in one of the most disrupted industries of our time, Brown shares stories of radical reinvention in the face of shifting tastes, technologies, business models, customers and market conditions—including invaluable insights on what it takes to come out on top.  Last year, CNBC profiled Brown in their leadership series CNBC Documentary The Brave Ones that aired on May 9th, 2018. Tina Brown is now CEO of Tina Brown Live Media and the visionary force behind Women in the World, a global platform dedicated to building a better life for women and girls. In this role, she brings together the world’s most remarkable and powerful women at annual summits at New York’s Lincoln Center. The summit has also been produced in London, Toronto, New Delhi and Dubai.  By convening inspirational activists, political change-makers and extraordinary leaders, Women in the World has also drawn luminaries such as Hillary Clinton, Oprah Winfrey, Meryl Streep, Stacey Abrams, Brie Larson, Anna Wintour and Christine Lagarde. Under Brown’s leadership, Women in the World has become a platform for advocacy, awareness and connection. It has also showcased Tina Brown’s wit, intellect and talent for engaging audiences with her powerful storytelling and sharp moderation.

Brown also hosts the podcast, “TBD with Tina Brown”, where she talks with entertaining candor to writers, actors, politicians, journalists, activists, thought leaders and news makers of tomorrow’s social debates.  Guests have included Aaron Sorkin, Margot Robbie, Preet Bharara, Hillary Clinton, Phoebe Robinson and Andrew Gillum.

Brown’s storytelling, the early years of her celebrated career and the roaring ‘80s are showcased in her latest book, The Vanity Fair Diaries: 1983 – 1992. Selected as one of Time Magazine’s top ten books of 2017, this funny, celebrity-studded account tells how she survived back-stabbing rivalries and rampant skepticism to turn around Conde Nast’s failing magazine. Behind the celebrated scoops and iconic magazine covers, Vanity Fair Diaries also tells an unforgettable account of radical reinvention, with valuable lessons for today’s climate of constant competition, change and disruption.

In 2007 her biography of the Princess of Wales The Diana Chronicles was #1 on the New York Times bestseller list. She is currently the royal commentator for the CBS Morning Show and co-anchored the wedding of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry with Gayle King. Whether she’s sharing stories of triumphant turnarounds, speaking about the challenges of women leaders or advocating to improve the lives of women and girls, Tina Brown brings audiences into the influential circle, inspiring experiences and passionate mission of one of the most remarkable women in our world today.
