Tomas Pueyo is a growth, product and marketing expert, currently leading a billion-dollar business inside Course Hero, an online education company based in Silicon Valley. With two Master of Science degrees in Engineering and an MBA from Stanford, Tomas has spent the last few years of his career taking hard problems, dissecting them, solving them, and communicating about them. He is the author of The Star Wars Rings: The Hidden Structure Behind the Star Wars Story and gave a TEDx talk about storytelling structure.
He has published several high-profile articles on Medium. His latest, focused on the COVID-19 pandemic, have been viewed by over 60 million people and translated into over 40 languages. His strategy of “The Hammer and The Dance” has been followed by governments around the world, and publicly endorsed by countries such as Germany, Bulgaria, Peru, and others. He has become an expert source for journalists on COVID-19, quoted in hundreds of media outlets around the world, including The New York Times and CNN.
